Promoting Tourism Projects in Hanoi

Department of Planning and Investment said, has reviewed the socialization projects in tourism development. In general, over 50 projects have been granted investment certificates or investment policy. In particular, some projects have been exploited since 2017, such as: Sport Park in the area of tourism, recreation, ecological urban Tuan Chau (Quoc Oai district); Intercontinental Hanoi Landmark72 (Nam Tu Liem District) .... However, some key projects are slow progress such as: Tan Vien high-end tourist resort (Ba Vi district); Quan Son lake ecotourism (My Duc district) ...

Currently, the People's Committee is directing the review of the planning and reality of tourism clusters in the area. In particular, the adjustment of the task of planning tourism clusters in Son Tay - Ba Vi; Huong Son - Quan Son; Soc - Ho Dong Quan; Van Tri - Co Loa; Ha Dong and its vicinity. Along with that, the City People's Committee is considering to plan the Ba Vi - Suoi Hai tourist area into a national tourist area up to 2025, with orientation to 2030 according to the TOR of the Ministry of Culture , Sports and Tourism approved.

City People's Committee has directed the departments, units concerned to check the capacity of the investor, demand commitment to deploy the project on schedule. In cases where the investor's capacity does not meet the requirements or wishes to stop implementing the project, the People's Committee will consider withdrawing and calling for other capable investors to participate.
In addition, the People's Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province is also interested in preserving and developing traditional trade villages in Bat Trang ceramic village (Gia Lam district) and Van Phuc silk weaving village (Ha Dong district). It is expected that in the second quarter of 2018, detailed planning for conservation and development of traditional craft villages combined with tourism in the two craft villages will be approved and implemented in a comprehensive and completed manner by 2020. It is a model of the craft villages and the development of more tourist villages in Hanoi.
